We found the house without any trouble because we had the GPS coordinates.We were welcomed by Patti and her husband Rafael. She is Dutch and he is Mexican. They have an 8 year old daughter Alexandra.
All our stuff was soaking wet, so Patti helped us hang them up to dry. She showed us to our room which had both an air conditioner and an overhead fan. We used the fan.This area is tropical rainforest so it is always humid. But with all the rain it is even worse.
Patti had invited us to a bbq in an email, so we went downstairs and ate with some friends of the family. Delicious and very welcome because we had not eaten any lunch.
Afterwards I went upstairs for a rest.
