Eats – Lunch On the road

Notes:We stopped for our usual picnic at a roadside lay by.Cold meats, cheese, tomatoes etc. It has been a long, fast ride on mostly well paved roads with toll booths every 100kms or so.
Fortunately motorcycles are free. I was glad to stop to give my sit bones a well deserved rest. Transportation for many people here is not powered by engines.

Arrival -Antelope Park, Gweru, Zimbabwe
Weather: Partly cloudy Temp:19C
Notes:The wind blew us the last 200kms after our lunch break. Along with the wind came decidedly cooler air. We had to take the last 4kms into the lodge slowly because of the dirt road. Geoff accidently bumped into Garys bike that had suddenly slowed on a small downhill. Geoff wobbled and dumped over in the ditch. Only his pride was hurt so we were soon at the lodge for our day’s end.Its a very cool place! 
Our cabin has a thatched roof and is an open concept A frame.
There is a clawfoot tub in the middle of the bathroom that I will be using after dinner. And so I did!
