Antigua is surrounded by 3 volcanoes. Yesterday all were shrouded in clouds. This morning, however, the largest one was clear and visible. We walked around our neighbourhood and found the ruins of a church. Part of the church had been restored in the 1960s to a usable condition but the bulk of the expansive building from the 1600s was left in ruins. Considering it has been hit with a series of earthquakes over several hundred years it is a zing that there is as much left as there is. Mixture sun and cloud 23
