So we’ve set sail…well. ..not really. There’s no wind so the Captain has started the engines and we are underway.Tonight we will sleep on the boat. I hope that at some point there will be enough wind to actually sail.This is an antique sailing ship built in 1903 in Holland. It was a training ship originally, but for many years a fishing boat. It was bought 10 years ago by a group of people who restored it and now it is used to take backpackers and motorcyclists from Panama to Columbia.On board there is a huge variation of people from our age to early twenties. Mostly it’s guys but there are 5 or six women and one young woman in the crew of four.
