Stopped for the day in La mesa at the Hotel Casa Grande. The place was empty except for us and the family that runs it. They have a big empty backyard where we were able to dry out our camping gear. Bill tried to get our laundry done but the lavaundaria had no power.I was able to wash our bathing suits and towels that were pretty stinky. Hope they dry by morning. Also washed Bill’s riding underwear that were also really stinky!lOur ride today was pretty easy with good roads, although close to LA Mesa there was a lot of construction that slowed us down somewhat. Weather was good, actually a bit cold as we peaked at about 3000 mts. No rain and no fog.
