I wasn’t really looking forward to getting back into a boat today. The sky was cloudy and there was a good breeze that made it seem quite cool. We had another snorkel tour booked so we went.It turned out to be great! We didn’t go out of the harbour, just motored to an area of shallow rocky water where we snorkeled. We saw almost as much today as yesterday’s diving without the hassle of getting in and out of diving gear! And the water was clearer. Bill took some good pictures of rays and turtles. After snorkeling we did a hike on Islote Tinorera where we saw some amazing lava rock formations covered with pale green and white lichens. We saw herons, boobies, yellow warblers, penguins, sea lions and of course lots and lots of iguanas. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic And he spoke in an interesting blend of Spanish and English.A really enjoyable tour!
