This road took us along a river that was flowing fast down out of the mountains. We slowly climbed from about 400 mts to 2000mts over the course of the dayThe wide river valley was mainly planted in rice As we climbed there was more cattle and small fields of corn and other staple crops.The river at one point made it difficult to maintain a road beside it so instead the road wound up and then back down a mountain.
