The first hotel we tried to find, well we couldn’t find it. So we tried to find my second choice and almost didn’t find that one either. But in the end we were successful and booked this rather nice but expensive hotel.the streets are very quiet in this town on a Sunday. we look for a place to have our lunch and found a small hole in the wall and we had the almuerso which wasn’t all that great however it only cost us $7 soles for the whole meal and It worked out to about well maybe not quite $3 so can’t complain about the price we went back to the hotel and had a relax and sleep and then in the evening we went out for dinner. We tried to find something other than a chicken restaurant but restaurant after restaurant after restaurant was Pollo, Pollo, pollo. We finally chose a pollo restaurant close to the river and we had a very good rotisserie chicken and salad so that was okay. Instead of walking home because by this time we were both quite tired we are at a very high altitude here I think it’s around 3600 meters. We chose to take a tuk-tuk home which was kind of fun it was very rapidly it was a Honda and it got us to our door I think it cost $3 soles which is so inexpensive. Rain 17
