Lunch stopChallapata, Bolivia We were going to stay the night in this little town but there were few if any options. We did eat lunch and decided to go on to Potosi.I think this town is very new. all of the houses are made of brick and none of them are finished. There are no Adobe houses to be seen in the town so I don’t know if the town just grew here or the Adobe buildings have to be taken down before building the new city. it is mostly desert around here, windswept and Sandy in very many places I’ve seen dust Devils. They’re trying to grow some crops in this area but this year is specially very dry. They’re building a quick text through the plane so they can get water but there is no water in the aqueduct. This is a desolate country beautiful but very very desolate. I would not want to live here.
