this is dry country. Never the less in this area they have turned it into a vineyard. As far as the eye can see there are fields of grapes some older and some just started. In places on the opposite side of the road there’s nothing but low bushes and cact and rocks. It’s very very sandy here. Right now the area I’m going through is Mountainous on the right hand side and new vineyards on the left. Every River that we have passed in the last 3 days has been basically dry. I don’t know where they get the water for the grapes.the clouds have been mounting for the last hour or so. It looks like there’s quite a storm ahead of us and I think we’re going to run right into it. Bill stopped for a little while so he could zip up his clothes so he wont get wet and I opted to not bother putting on my fleece I just left it down my friend of mine coat. Strangely enough our road squirted it around that horrible storm it’s very dark it there’s lightning and we’re missing it when I leave it getting wet. However we are headed to order another storm and I think this one might get us. It’s about a half hour later and we are also skirting around the storm which is amazing it’s just the way the road is taking us and it seems to be avoiding all of the storm. Now we’re going through a mountain is area and its raining all along the right side of us which is where the mountains are. Were following at Dr River bed maybe it won’t be so dry after this. I think we’re headed for one more store and yes we’re starting to get a few drops of rain. This road is sneaking around to the right taking us closer to the mountains so we’re getting a little bit more wet. It took about 1520 minutes for us to get through the wet of rain area of of the ride. And now it is still cloudy but doesn’t look right so dark. We’re about a half hour outside of been.
