We walked a metal walkway across the Iguazu river. This river is very wide with many small islands in it. The walkway meanders from island to island until it ends in a large circular balcony overlooking the falls. There are crowds of tourists here and it is very hard to get any good pictures of the falls without someone’s head or selfie stick in it.The falls are truly magnificent and kind of put Niagara Falls to shame. These falls still are surrounded by sub tropical forest and you have to look to the Brazil side to see any hotels and they are in the distance. This section is called devil’s throat because it falls in a round hole that looks a bit like a throat.
