Wonderful museum that houses thousands of pieces of Pre Hispanic art that Diego collected during his life. The museum was built of volcanic rock in the shape of a pyramid and Diego designed the rooms to represent the underworld, life and the heavens. Some of the ancient pieces are enhanced with modern art that somehow doesn’t detract from their native beauty. Other pieces of original art are made from tires and chewing gum of all things.Again we chose not to pay for photography rights.
