There are always positives and negatives to a brand new day, especially this particular New Years Day.Yesterday, while searching for our hotel we hit a n unseen tope way to fast. It jolted me from head to toe. Well this morning I awoke with a screaming lower back, so bad Im not too sure how I’m going to manage six or seven hours on a bike.On the other hand, last night we got talking to the hotel owner. He was so nice. He wished us well on our journey and told us he was envious. This morning, although his wife had told us there would be no breakfast when we checked in, he cooked us scrambled eggs and bacon, refried beans and tortillas. He would take no payment for them!
