This beach town is probably crazy busy in the summer but for our visit it was very quiet. The weather was very unsettled, first sunny then pouring rain. The temperature was warm though so we didn’t let it get in the way of our explorations.We took a tram up to the top of the cliffs to look out over the ocean and then walked down to the lighthouse. Because of the underlying rock formations and the prevailing winds, this area sometimes gets huge waves that are prized by surfers. It was not particularly wavy while we were there, still they were big enough!We ate pizza for dinner and strolled through the streets until dusk.
