House sit Merida
Location: Merida, Yucatan
Notes: We had everything more or less packed last night so all we had to do this morning was have some breakfast. We had bought some pasteries the night before and had some fruit and yogurt in the fridge so we did just fine. Only Brian was up to see us off but that was okay. Got away about 8:15. BACK ON THE ROAD!
We plan to stop at some ruins and museums as we make our way across Campeche and Veracruz, starting with out-of-the-way Calakmul. But first we will camp at a famous lake in Quintana Roo called Bacalar. It is supposed to have the most beautiful clear water. We shall see.
