Location: Coscomatepec de Bravo,
Notes: This is a lovely colonial hotel close to the center of the town on top of a steep hill. We checked in and opted for a room with a double bed. Turned out the room was one that didn’t have any windows. There was a room across the building that had a king bed and a balcony so we chose that one instead.
Once we were settled we headed for a restaurant close by. Bill had looked it up on Google. What a good choice! We were given several choices on the menu of the day. My only complaint was that the soup and the meat were too spicy for me. Bill had no trouble with it.
When we entered the restaurant we could hear thunder in the distance. I joked that this was becoming a habit that it rained whenever we went out for lunch. And rain it did! Not only did it rain it hailed! We wait now for the rain to stop so we can get back to our room without getting drenched.
As we strolled up and down the streets of this town it became apparent that their main claim to fame is in the building of Saddles. We saw store after store displaying these georgious western saddles. Unfortunately I never thought to take any pictures! Stupid me!
