Accommodations, 8:31 p.m.
Location: Arniston Hotel and Spa
Weather: Foggy Temp: 13C
Notes: It was a long grueling day that went on much longer than the organizers anticipated. It was well after dark when we parked our motorbikes for the day. And the last 10kms were in thick fog. I had a terrible migraine by this time, which had started after our climb up to the lighthouse on the cape.
This is the first time Compass Tours have done this trip from South to North and they are learning it is not the same!

Eats – dinner, 8:45 p.m.
Location: Hotel Restaurant
Notes: We ate in the hotel restaurant. I wanted something light and chose sushi. Bill went for the ostrich steak.
Bill had beer and I had a non alcoholic beer.
Cost: Included
Notes: Our room was beautiful with many thoughtful touches including a chocolate on the pillow and heated floors under the carpeting.
So cozy for cold feet! There was a nice big bathtub and bubble bath which I used to soak away my body aches and pains even though it could do nothing about my migraine. I had to take a pill for that.
