Weather: Partly cloudy Temp: 20C
Notes: We started a bit early this morning because there was a river safari booked for us for 3pm this afternoon
We hoped to get away by 7:30pm but breakfast took longer than anticipated. The restaurant has prepared boxed lunches for us that our tour leaders say we will eat at our next hotel just before we head out to catch our boat.

We are getting used to having to slow down or stop for domestic animals on or crossing the road. In Botswana they tend to have the right-of-way. Luckily most of them are very experienced with road traffic and do not spook easily. We are only concerned about the young ones.

Boat Cruise Chobe river
Location: Kasane, Botswana
Weather: Clear Temp: 30C
Notes: As part of our Africa tour we embarked on a cruise on the Chobe river famous for the amount of wildlife that inhabits its shores during the dry season.
We saw water buffalo, elephants, crocodiles, antelope and many more species. They served us drinks and snacks as we cruised along the river. On one side of the river is Botswana and on the other is Namibia.
