finished 11:00amThe immigration office was packed. They had every wicket open (4 of them) Two young boys took it upon themselves to be our guide’s and bike guards. One boy stayed with the bike and the other took us into immigration and motioned for us to get in a line. Later he wanted us to change lines but it seemed to me the wrong line because the window sign said tour operators, buses and nationals. We didn’t change. As it turned we should have listened to the kid. When it was our turn we were sent to the other window.We paid our ‘help’ about $8.00 each and took their picture. 2015-11-06 04:06 p.m. ” Road between Honduras border and Rivas, Nicaragua Nicaragua is cattle country, at least along this stretch of road. In some cases the cattle and horses were in the fields, but more often than not, the cattle were being grazed along the highway allowances with a cowboy or two to look after them. As you can see by the photos, sometimes the cattle think the grass is greener on the other side of the road.It is pretty country and seems lush, but much flatter than Honduras. We could see mountains in the distance, so I’m guessing that there’s a lot more
