the road when we started off this morning was a brand new paved road that went for about 35 kilometers to ruta 40. Ruta 40 at that point is not paved! For the next 72 kilometers it is nothing but gravel and dirt and bumps and rock and very very slow going. After the 72 kilometers Ruta 40 turns into a brand new paved double laned highway or Autopista. A welcome relief. the weather today is bright and sunny with a few clouds but quite cool, the temperature is around 14 or 15 degrees Celsius. Luckily we do not have any rain because they close the construction area we just went through during rain because the road gets to bad to use. Partly cloudy 15
