We are waiting for enough people to fill a ferry to go over to the Island. I think we need 10 people.We waited about 15 minutes talking to a man who had lived and worked in California for many years. Finally we decided to go to the more busy port. Unfortunately we arrived just as a boat filled up and we were directed to another boat where we sit waiting for it to fill.A mariachi band came aboard and played while we crossed. They expected tips of course. When we were close to the Island there were fishermen with huge nets. They dropped the nets for a minute then raised them to show us their catch.
