We spent the summer months at home in Tweed, where I explored the opportunities available for house-sitting in Mexico and beyond for the coming winter months. We managed to secure two sits – one in Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexicofor 3 weeks and one in San Ramon, Costa Rica for 2 1/2 months. So our plan was to trailer our Tenere to Texas, find storage for the truck and trailer and continue our journey from there. As it turned out, Bill’s brother offered to drive the truck to Texas and bring it back home so we could be free to just continue on to the Alaskan part of our journey in the spring. This is how it played out.
