Our second snorkel tour was another hour away in a bouncing boat. This time we sat at the very back so didn’t get too much of the bouncing. Good thing too because I hadn’t taken my gravol.First we took a walk on the lava flows. These were really neat because they were in the water. They made bridges and islands covered in different kinds of cacti, a really surrealistic landscapeThen we snorkeled for a little while in the area. Although we didn’t see any of them swimming we saw lots of penguins sunning themselves on the rocks.We left that area and boated to an area of mangroves. Here we snorkeled with a huge sea turtle and several white tipped sharks. We even saw a seahorse and Bill got the picture to prove it.The ride home didn’t seem as long as the ride out. I think the sea was calmer. overcast 25
