I had chosen a hostel located about 40kms outside of Chachapoyas, but when we arrived they were not really prepared for guests and could only offer us one night. We chose to go on to Chachapoyas.This town is 2300mts high and quite cool. It is a colonial town so we headed for the main square and started to look for lodgings. It was raining and we ended up parking the bike so we could walk around. We finally decided on Hostel Revash because it was possible to park the bike in the courtyard and the room was nice with private bath.We booked a tour to Kuelap the next day.
