Notes: Of course when you are recovering from dental work in Mexico, it is only natural to go see some of the tourist attractions. This one was within easy walking distance of our accomodations. This is a beautiful house that is preserved from the 19th century when newly minted millionaires built their showplaces in the trendiest neighbourhoods of Merida. All along the streets we walk are houses such as these, only fallen into disrepair and often empty with just a security guard sitting outside keeping any vagrants out. This house is different…Take a look.
